This is an afternoon filled with friends, cars, and refreshments in a beautiful lake-side setting. This is a low-key “wash and show” event where every attendee gets to vote for their favorite car in each category. This is not a “concours” and there is no judging other than your fellow members walking around with their ballots. As in years past, Oktoberfest will be a non-profit event, with all proceeds after expenses donated to a local charity.
The registration fee is $45 per person and includes entry to the show, a special event t-shirt, a mid-afternoon BBQ meal, beer, wine and snacks all afternoon. Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event, and kids 12 and under are free.
We will be holding OktoberFest at the picnic area at Montague Lake in Raleigh. Montague’s is located at 10301 Penny Road, just east of the intersection of Penny Road and Kildaire Farm Road. All registrations must be made in advance and we will not accept day-of registrations. The number of attendees and the number of cars will be capped so please register today.
